The fire chief will be coming Tuesday to inspect my home office as well as child care space. Thank you Stirling for being an amazing small town. I somehow convinced the chief to bring a truck with him so the kids can have a hands on learning experience while a less fun inspection is happening!
I would like to send a huge thank you to Brittany from Hastings and Prince Edward Public Health. She has been an unbelievable resource. Many email attachments have been sent my way with all of HPEPH child care requirements. This made having to write my own policies much easier. The ministry of education makes sure that all "i's" are doted and "t's" are crossed. For parents looking for child care, knowing that licensed child care has to encompass not only developmentally appropriate and inclusive environments but they have to be inspected for safety is a huge bonus. What I will be working on this week:
I will continue to post updates so check back often to see how the licensing process is coming along. Wish me luck on my to do list. kind regards, Kristina
