Child Care Providers

At Little Lambs our goal is to provide caring, respectful and developmentally appropriate early years programming. By consistently learning and growing ourselves we hope to only better our programs. While each program is individually run by one Provider we like to emphasize that we are a team.

Note: for the safety of our child care providers and the children in their care we now use generalized area "pins."
We no longer post pictures and bios of our educators on this website.

We have many amazing women partnering with our agency across Hastings County. The "blue pins" on the map show the general location of each licensed child care program. Little Lambs has built a strong and positive reputation in large part, due to the incredible hard work of our educators.

Our child care providers receive intensive background checks and are supported through ongoing oversight to ensure the child care they provide meets/exceeds expectations. We foster continued professional learning through agency hosted workshops, online resources, and individualized mentoring.

To become a licensed child care provider they must:
  • submit up-to-date VSC police checks for themselves and everyone residing at their premises over 18 years old.
  • submit up-to-date Children's Aid Society checks for themselves and everyone residing at their premises over 18 years old.
  • complete a home fire inspection with the local fire authority

Child Care Sector Partners

"It takes a Village" is a common phrase in the child care sector. Without the support of community and provincial partners our agency would not be possible.
